1)This appliance operates under pressure. Improper use may result in serious injury. Always ensure the unit is properly sealed before use. When cooking foods that expand, such as rice or dried vegetables, never exceed the 1/2 full mark. Overfilling can lead to a clogged vent pipe, resulting in excess pressure and potential danger. 3)Never open the pressure cooker until it has cooled and the internal pressure has been safely reduced. If the handles on the body or lid are difficult to separate, this indicates the cooker is still under pressure. Do not force it open. Remaining pressure can be hazardous. 4)Once the cooker has reached the normal cooking pressure, lower the heat to just above the simmer position to prevent excessive evaporation of the liquid that generates steam. Always ensure the handles are securely fastened. If any handles are loose, cracked, broken, or charred, they must be replaced immediately for safe use.
